CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
A Senior Configuration Management Lead is a technical leader on the Software Configuration Management team. He/She participates on cross-functional product teams focused on the release of high quality products within budget and schedule. Participation requires production of multiple project deliverables across multiple product teams within a limited time frame. Hence, time management and prioritization is critical.
As a lead member of the SCM team, the candidate provides guidance and planning in support of the day-to-day operation and improvement SCM procedures and practices. In addition, the candidate provides first and second-level support for the operation of the build automation framework, and assistance to the development community regarding source code control and change management procedures.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
In-depth knowledge of SCM best practices.
- Experience with source code control systems including there deployment, administration. Perforce preferred.
- Experience training developer community on SCM best practices, source code control system and defect tracking system usage.
- Experience in a controlled software development lifecycle
- Experience utilizing Unit Test Frameworks (junit, cppunit, etc…)
- Scripting: Perl, Python, VBScript
- Languages: C/C++, Java
- Experience with product installer frameworks, i.e., InstallShield, Wise
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience in the use and improvement of defect tracking systems.
- Experience producing product release notes
- Experience in tracking product dependencies.
- Experience cross-platform development environments. Including Windows, Linux, Solaris, HP_UX and AIX.
- Minimally a B.S. degree in Computer Science
- 3-4 years experience in software/hardware product development environment with a demonstrable record of meeting commitments and increasing productivity through incremental process improvements.
