Project Manager- Converged Monitoring

Networking professional with 5+ years of project management experience driving teams to implement complex IP Networking solutions in Network Equipment Manufacturing, Enterprise or Internet Service Provider operations
Excellent customer facing presence with strong verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience in working with customers through interactive ‘white board’ think tank sessions to assist in designing solutions and capturing customer requirements
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills in order to translate customer needs into a logically presented requirements document
Proven ability to motivate team members
Must have understanding of product development life cycles
Ability to build and manage a team whose role it is to focus on multiple parallel customer engagements
Good understanding of VoIP, IPTV or wireless technologies
Knowledgeable in at least one of the following – Cable, L3VPN, L2VPN, DSL or Wireless networks
Entrepreneur minded; Work in a start-up like environment taking on multiple roles as needed to secure success
Highly organized and possess a keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving
Able to quickly pick quickly up on new technologies, tools and engineering processes
Ability to sometimes travel to the customer site; involves international travel
Bachelors of Science in Computer Networking

A Project Manager will be the success facilitator of the entire solution being delivered and implemented at the customer site. In addition to defining development, QA, docs and release management deliverables the Project Manager will coordinate with the leads of each team and track planned to actual task delivery. The Project Manager is also the point of contact for the customer team and owns responsibility for ensuring expenses maintain within the budget on a per project basis. The Project Manager is expected to be well versed in IP Networking, have a logical and calm approach to troubleshooting issues, and can deliver and execute on risk/mitigation plans.
