C++ software engineer

Enthusiast and willing to work in the network testing development field
• Experience in GUI development (C++ and/or .NET C#)
• Good knowledge of C and C++
• Algorithms/ data structures knowledge and OOP skills
• Performance driven, fast learner, hard working and self motivated
• Communicative, proactive attitude and team player
• Good communication English skills (spoken and written)

Additional skills considered a plus:
• Minimum 2 years of professional work as a software engineer
• Experience in network programming
• .NET - C# knowledge or Java experience
• Highly organized and detail oriented

This position is for a software engineer to develop network testing software applications. Be part of an international team developing one of the industry's leading test tools for emulating real-world applications to predict device and system performance under realistic load conditions by emulating hundreds of protocols across thousands of network endpoints. It requires an immediate and significant technical contribution to complex object oriented software development including architecture, functional and design specifications, implementation, development testing and bug-fixing.

• Will be part of an international team that is developing a multi-platform software product.

• Will be required to write functional specifications conforming to the company standards, based on the marketing requirements for a particular new feature.

• Will be required to write software design specifications following object-oriented software design standards.

• Will be required to present these documents in review meetings in fluent English.

• Will implement in an object-oriented language the feature based on company coding standards.

• Will be required to perform code-reviews for other team members.

• Will perform dev-testing at the end of the development cycle of that feature in order to ensure a good delivery to the QA team.

• Will do bug-fixing in the bug-fixing phase for the feature he has worked on or for other parts of the product

• Will be self-driven and will work towards delivering on-time and with high quality all the deliverables he is tasked on
