Production Manager

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Production Manager will be one of the main members of the managing Board of Directors. He/she will be responsible for all production sections, being helped by the technical and quality departments – in terms of objectives determination (cost, delay, quantities, qualities), organization, optimization and follow up. The person will also participate to the evolution of the technology and of the products.

IUS Brasov is the biggest Romanian manufacturer of hand-tools. The company has a total of 160 years of activity, out of which 66 years in hand-tools production. Since 1998, IUS Brasov is part of international group MOB, the European leader in the production of hammers and hand-tools for constructions. MOB is in a continuous development – currently has a total of 1,400 employees and has a daily production of 90,000 products.

For 15 years, IUS products are present on international markets, and nowadays export activity has an important percentage in the company’s turnover. In 1997, IUS introduced the quality management systems ISO 9001, being certified by British Standards Institution.

The future plans for IUS are to consolidate its position both on Romanian and international markets, through 2 major actions: organisational excellence – generating products and services of superior quality and principledness in business relationships – generating trust and stability with the business partners.
