Java / Database Software Developer

We're looking for 2 developers, one to work on the front-end/UI, one on the back-end.
For the back-end, we'll consider two options: hiring somebody full time who already has a lot of experience (2 a) below), or hiring someone younger but interested in database issues and willing to learn quickly (2 b) below).

2)a) Senior Java / Database Software Developer
ITerating (see http://www.iterating.com∞) is looking for a senior Java/Database programmer to join its team in Bucharest.
The candidate will be a graduate of Politehnica Bucharest or equivalent and must have 1 to 4 years professional experience in java programming working on large, transactionnal systems (e.g. airline reservations, banking, e-commerce, high volume online services,...).
Experience with Apache and Tomcat is a must. Experience with PostgreSQL and Linux is a plus. Experience with application servers like websphere or jBoss also a plus.
We are looking for people who are passionate about programming and computer systems, and who would be excited to join an international project. As part of a young, fast growing start-up, the candidate will be able to make major contributions for which he or she is directly responsible, and evolve rapidly both technically and personally.
Working from home is acceptable.

2)b) Java / Database Software Developer
ITerating (see http://www.iterating.com∞) is looking for a Java/Database programmer to join its team in Bucharest.
The candidate will be a student of Politehnica Bucharest or equivalent and will have demonstrated a strong interest in java programming and database issues.
Experience with Apache, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Linux and application servers like websphere or jBoss are strong pluses.

Terating is a user-generated directory of open source and commercial software. It uses RDF natively to provide the infrastructure for users to input product descriptions and reviews, hence providing a structure for this content based on w3C standards.
