RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
ITerating (see is looking for a senior Java/Database programmer to join its team in Bucharest.
The candidate will be a graduate of Politehnica Bucharest or equivalent and must have 1 to 4 years professional experience in java programming working on large, transactionnal systems (e.g. airline reservations, banking, e-commerce, high volume online services,...).
Experience with Apache and Tomcat is a must. Experience with PostgreSQL and Linux is a plus. Experience with application servers like websphere or jBoss also a plus.
We are looking for people who are passionate about programming and computer systems, and who would be excited to join an international project. As part of a young, fast growing start-up, the candidate will be able to make major contributions for which he or she is directly responsible, and evolve rapidly both technically and personally.

DESCRIEREA COMPANIEI:
ITerating is a user-generated directory of open source and commercial software. A wiki-based library of information, software reviews, ratings, articles and detailed product features comparisons.
The purpose of ITerating is to provide help when searching , comparing and reviewing thousands of software products . It uses RDF natively to provide the infrastructure for users to input product descriptions and reviews . Providing a structure for this content based on RDF, a w3C standard ,ensures maximum interoperability with other sites. ITerating is an "open content" site: its content can be accessed many ways, including through RSS and non-RSS RDF feeds.
