Senior Data Analyst for International Projects(CodRef: SDA)

At least 2-3 years in data processing: utilization of statistical software and techniques in the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets;
Ability to handle various sets of data: cleaning, merging, matching etc.
Knowledgeable in SPSS, Excel, Access, SQL; Quantum would be a plus
Database knowledge. Records maintenance skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data.
Ability to prepare research reports and proposals.
Ability to utilize statistical computer software.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

* Collects, evaluates, and prepares research and/or other complex statistical data for a specific unit of the institution. Prepares statistical and narrative reports and recommendations, and participates in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate. Develops, maintains, and ensures quality control of databases and may assist in development and implementation of measurement systems.
* Data processing and formatting, data merging, handling, exports (using SPSS, Excel) and tabulation (using SPSS, Quantum or Quanvert);
* Logical quality control of the online surveys (based on the project specifications) and database checking.
* Develops data collection instruments;
* Collects, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports.
* Maintains computerized collection and tracking of relevant data.
* Utilizes specified statistical software to analyze and interpret research data, as appropriate to the individual position.
* Maintains appropriate records of research methods and results.
* Designs and/or develops specific databases for collection, tracking, and reporting of research data, as appropriate to the position.
* May lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of similar position, as appropriate to the area of operation.
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
