Purchasing Executive - Ref Code PEX

* Studies: Bachelor of Science degree in Market Research, Marketing, Economics;
* Min. 2 years relevant experience;
* Experience in purchasing with product knowledge;
* Ability to negotiate with vendors;
* Good knowledge of marketing; knowledge of quantitative research is an asset;
* Ability to apply knowledge of market research;
* Have a thorough understanding of core market research field and previous relevant experience in a similar position;
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and related departments inside the company;
* Possess and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to communicate essential concepts to people of all levels;
* Must be extremely detail oriented, dependable, analytical and able to keep up in a fast paced environment;
* Ability to work efficiently and independently in a busy work environment;
* Accuracy in working with large amounts of data;
* A proactive and flexible person;
* Results oriented, dynamic and self-motivated person;
* Team spirit and leadership skills;
* Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package;
* Fluency in English - both spoken and written.

Descrierea postului:

* The Purchasing Executive is responsible for the success of panels purchasing and prepares search reports and presentations at the end of the acquisition process;
* Builds up database with providers;
* Accepts and scrutinizes vendor bids and proposals;
* Negotiates and builds relationship with vendors;
* Arranges vendor contracts, bargains for best costs, and observes quality of purchased services;
* Prepares reports and required documentation for administrations;
* Responsible for decisions, consequences and results having impact on people, costs, and/or service within the functional area;
* Manages the on-going contracts with thr suppliers and maitain a good relationship with them;
* Makes decisions and establishes work priorities on essentially policy/procedure-oriented operations;
* Communicates with staff on progress of orders in charge with the purchasing document flow;
* Investigates where to purchase orders.
