Investment Director

• A strong academic background with post-graduate degree in Business Administration / Legal and / or Economics discipline;
• At least 5 years experience in PE or related industry, preferably in Romania. Strong network and excellent reputation among different industry stakeholders;
• Ability to influence and manage deal process independently;
• Excellent technical skills, strong business analysis and quantitative skills, including understanding of financial statements, GAAP, financial modeling and valuation methodologies;
• Self-discipline, high integrity and strong work moral;
• Persistence, enthusiasm and determination to excel;
• Knowledge and interest of financial markets / current affairs;
• Excellent presentation skills;
• Understanding of third party fund management requirements (legal aspects, governance)

He/she will be responsible for:
• sourcing and leading the evaluation, negotiation and execution of certain investment opportunities for Kerten, in accordance with its internal guidelines;
• monitoring investment portfolio companies (management, board representation, maximizing performance and enterprise value, ensure exit strategy);
• establishing an appropriate platform for third party funds management (Romanian government, European Investment Fund).

Kerten is a private organisation established to identify and support high potential businesses in emerging European countries and Turkey. Our head office is in Dublin, with local offices in Warsaw (Poland), Bucharest (Romania) and Istanbul (Turkey).
Based in Bucharest, the appointee will join our existing team, having responsibility to represent Kerten and promote its economic interests in Romania before all stakeholders, including investment committee, governmental and financing agencies, advisory, private equity and target companies.
