Skills, Knowledge and Experience
At least two years in Tx Engineering or Operations.
Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a technical subject.
Technical knowledge of SDH and DWDM networks.
Delivery of carrier class SDH and DWDM network services.
Previous use of Cramer and SIEBEL advantageous.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
The Role
Performance of efficient, accurate capacity checks at the pre-order stage of the Service Delivery process.
Prompt liaison with sales engineering department to clarify design requirements.
Documentation of reserved capacity in the CRAMER inventory management system in line with existing SLAs and technical design rules.
A proactive approach to the identification of capacity “hot spots” and other risks to delivery. Follow through issues to maximise network efficiency and design turnaround times.
Drive improvements to processes, systems and software tools to further enhance workflow and delivery times.
Work within the team and coordinate with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
