DESCRIPTION:
- Perform GSM optimization/performance on a launched network.
- Analysis of dropped calls, congestion, expansion needs.
- Recommendations to improve KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS (recommended):
- Ericsson GSM optimization desired.
- Strong experience and understanding of GSM protocols, statistical analysis using counters.
- Design concepts and experience with some planning tool.
- Minimum 5 years wireless performance engineering experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electromagnetic theory, antenna theory, radio propagation, and AMPS, TDMA, CDPD, GSM, and GPRS air interfaces.
- Demonstrated knowledge of wireless switch, network, and cell site hardware/software interfaces.
- Strong computer skills, including MS-DOS, Windows XP, MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), UNIX, Internet, and MapInfo experience.
- Experience with Planet or similar RF modeling/prediction software.
- Experience with COMARCO/TEMS or similar drive test equipment, GPS, and network/spectrum/audio analyzer equipment.
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team in a cross-functional environment
- Proven ability to produce measurable results within a complex multi-tasking, rapidly changing work environment.
- Proven ability to develop and evaluate multiple solutions to a wide range of interdependent problems.
- Strong, effective prioritization and organizational skills.
- Preferred experience with Lucent TDMA and Ericsson GSM technology.
- Proficient in English in order to communicate with worldwide staff.

DESCRIEREA COMPANIEI:
Proeminenta firma americana din domeniul telecomunicatiilor wireless (lider al inovatiei tehnologice in domeniu si cu o prezenta globala) cauta sa angajeze ingineri GSM romani cu experienta in 2G si 3G.
Celor selectati li se vor asigura viza H1B si un salariu american competitiv (in functie de experienta si calificari).
Limba engleza (nivel mediu spre bun) este necesara pentru a comunica cu staff-ul companiei.
Candidatii selectati vor fi intervievati in Romania de reprezentati de la cartierul general al firmei.
Candidatii studenti in ultimul an la facultate de profil sunt acceptati numai daca au si o experienta de lucru relevanta in domeniu (3-5 ani).
Daca sunteti interesati va rugam sa aplicati cat mai repede (CV-urile in limba engleza) posibil (in acest fel se poate demara mai repede procesul de obtinere a vizei H1B pentru cei selectati pentru angajare).

Qualified candidates who are hired will be provided with a H1-B work visa and a very competitive American salary.
