| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Our client is a St. Louis, US based global manufacturing organization, employing over 129,000 people worldwide with a turnover of over $20.9 billion in 2009, with more than 19 years of experience in Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing in Central & Eastern Europe.
Requirements:
- Ensure formal Compliance systems are in place within each of the companies of the Group, in the EMEA/CIS world area, prioritizing this activity according to relevant trade levels and risk.
- Participate in the formulation of company policies, where this is impacted by International Trade Control regulations.
- Pursue with all Divisions the resolution of problems arising from International trade Control issues.
- Actively participate in ITC review programs, and maintain accurate up to date records of the Compliance status of individual operations.
- Ensure that such compliance systems offer the opportunity of expanding permissible trade rather than restricting it.
- Research and advise on common methodology across the world area for compliance systems.
- Consult on Compliance matters with Corporate and Divisional lawyers.
- Liaise with Compliance officers in other world areas to ensure smooth inter-operation between independent areas and systems.
- Create and maintain guideline documents and databases for timely access to essential information in a controlled manner.
- Engender a spirit of pride, ownership and commitment in all staff towards being meticulously compliant.
- Introduce, inform and manage other related International Trade Compliance programs and initiatives including C-TPAT, SWPM and AEO.
- Maintain an effective communication infrastructure for awareness of changing legislation and its effects on the products and processes of the different companies.
- Create training material, program and carry out the necessary education and training program for staff at all levels.
- Provide support to Compliance Officers in the EMEA/CIS region.
- Undertake other general tasks as appropriate in support of the above. | RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
- University degree
- Relevant senior level experience in this field
- Good literacy skills including understanding of legal documents
- Experience of International Trade Controls
- Experience of industrial manufacturing processes
- Experience of industrial automation business
- Demonstrated success in the management of change
- Good understanding of the need for structured solutions
- Fluency in English
