Printer (Experience essential)

The candidate will have excellent communications skills but will NOT need to speak English. He will be able and willing to work outside of normal working hours when required and be available to travel to the UK for training (a valid passport is therefore required). Preference will be given to those applicants who come from within the print packaging industry and all applicants MUST possess appropriate printing qualifications and experience of working directly in the print factory environment. You will be proactive, fast to learn, confident and outgoing. You will work best under pressure and deadlines and enjoy working for a progressive and dynamic company. Please note that the start date for this job is early January 2006 but interview will be held during November and December.

The company has the most modern and efficient printing equipment and therefore needs a Printer Operator with experience gained from within the printing industry preferably from a packaging background. The successful candidate will be responsible for all printed products and ensure that all products are printed to the highest standards achievable in the industry. He will therefore have the ability to follow production instructions, operate all necessary systems and be responsible for the staff that may be required to operate the machinery. Quality control, company procedures and standards, health and safety and ISO 9000 are all areas that he will be familiar with and competent at dealing with. Complete knowledge of platemaking and ink is essential as is the ability to work within a team dedicated to the expansion and success of the company. The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in training and development, make recommendations to the company, develop best working practices and become totally involved with the development of internal services and materiel suppliers.
