Internal Auditor (Supervisory/Management Level)

You will be dynamic, energetic and probably between 25 and 30 years of age. You will have a minimum of 3 to 4 years experience of working in a representative organization in an accounting/audit division. It is essential that you speak and write fluent (technical) English and another European language would be a distinct advantage. You must have a solid background in accountancy and have gained relevant experience in auditing within a professional environment. Experience of insolvency and/or liquidation is also an advantage. You will possess excellent analytical and communication skills and be able to work to tight deadlines and under high pressure. It is essential that you have a Degree in Accountancy, Auditing, and Business Administration or be a Certified Internal Auditor (or equivalent). You will have worked for a recognised consulting firm or within an Internal Audit Division and be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in working with the management at all levels marketing the company, its services and image. Since the job will involve travel to the Balkans and Central Europe you will have a full valid passport. Preference will be given to those candidates that have had exposure to working for a western company or who have worked overseas (west Europe, America, etc) but ALL applications will be considered equally and without prejudice. The job will be based in Bucharest although applications from across Romania will be accepted (please note, however, that the interviews will only be conducted in Bucharest).

Due to the growth and expansion of their Internal Audit service line, our client (a major international management services consultancy) needs an exceptional person to join them in their busy Audit section. This is a very demanding and busy position and only applicants that meet the criteria laid out in this advertisement will be considered for interview. You must have gained and be able to demonstrate an excellent track record in Internal and/or External Audit within either an established consulting firm or Internal Audit Division. You will be required to lead and participate in internal audit assignments (outsourced and co-sourced), conduct quality reviews of client's internal audit functions, deliver internal audit training to client's Internal Audit Divisions, draft reports and presentations to senior management and clients on the findings of your work and also be expected to assist the Regional Leadership in marketing the firm's services. This is a very pressurised job and therefore the hours can sometimes be long, urgent deadlines will need to be met and a degree of travel throughout Romania, the Balkans and Central Europe will be necessary.
