***JOB OFFER - CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - NIGERIA
Our client is one of the most prominent organization in the Nigerian construction industry today.
Job based in Lagos or Abuja.

RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Plan, direct, coordinate, or budget, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of built project on different sites.
§ Oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.
§ Confers with supervisory personnel to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
§ Directs and supervises workers on construction site to ensure project meets specification.
§ Formulates reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling.
§ Inspects and reviews construction work and reports to ensure work conforms to specifications.
§ Interprets and explains plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients.
§ Investigates reports of damage at construction sites to ensure proper procedures are being carried out.
§ Requisitions supplies and materials to complete construction project.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
§ Qualified Project Manager, with a BSc or BTech Constr Management or equivalent qualification.
§ Proven proficiency in construction management.
§ 6-7 years relevant experience in managing construction works.
§ Good communication and people skills.
§ Work experience in Africa is a plus.
§ Very good English.

WHAT IS ON OFFER
§ Local contract: Permanent contract
§ Offshore Salary :3000$-3500 $ NET
§ on top a local allowance of 800$
§ Furnished Apartment + Stewart
§ Car + driver
§ Medical insurance (type and cover guaranteed)
§ Holiday: 6 weeks/year + Christmas.
§ Bachelor is preferable/ Family with one child is possible

RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Managing costs on a wide variety of new building projects and structures.
§ Undertaking costs analysis for project work.
§ Preparing early stage budgets and detailed cost plans.
§ Performing risk and value management and cost control.
§ Advising on procurement strategy.
§ Preparing tender and contract documents including bills of quantities.
§ Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.
§ Establishing and operating cost and financial control systems.
§ Negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
§ Providing advice on contractual claims.
§ Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
§ Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
§ Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
§ Qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a degree in HNC qualified (BSc/HNC in Surveying) or be able to demonstrate competency to degree/HNC standard.
§ Significant experience in quantity measurement techniques and contract interpretation.
§ 8-10 years relevant experience.
§ Good people-management skills.
§ Ability to successfully manage all commercial aspects of a project with minimal interference.
§ Work experience in Africa is a plus.
§ Very good English.

***JOB OFFER - UPHOLSTERY MANAGER
Our client is specialised in the manufacturing of wooden furniture for the household. Today with over 8 showrooms Nationwide, our client is the main leader on the furniture market and trend setter.
This position is based in Nigeria - Lagos.

RESPONSIBILITIES
§ The upholstery manager is in charge of the upholstery department of the company.
§ Operational management
- Manager the Upholstery department of the Company with a work force of approx 80 workers.
- Understand and able to run an Upholstery department at an industrial mass Production level.
- To manage production cycle from bottom till end.
- Follow up on customer orders from 8 different outlets.
- Checks correspondences and Order Bills (Incoming and outgoing) related to Operations of the department.
§ Production management
- Coordinates between Operations’ teams within the department for improved performance.
- Performs quality control on final production cycle.
- To update the management on daily activity reports of the department.

People management .
§ People management
- Establishes and prepares training for the Production personnel.
- Performs monitoring control sessions on Operations teams according to the planning.

§ Knowledge of Raw Materials element is a must (Foam, Wood,Fibre,Fittings,and Accessories).
§ A Team Leader as his task is to manage a workforce of approximately 80 people.
§ Business and Objective driven, the person will have to follow the objectives stated to him by management.
§ Problem Solver and extremely Organized.
§ Adaptable
§ Perfect English (written and spoken) is a must.
§ Ability to understand and solve human resources related problems.
§ Ability to understand and solve production related problems.
§ Has a creative sense and able make new models out of catalogues.
