Manager QA/RO $ 3000 LUNAR

JOB TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE/REVERSE OSMOSIS MANAGER

JOB LOCATION: IRAQ

MISSION: AMD needs a highly skilled and motivated QA/RO Manager. AMD operates 6 bottled water facilities (BWF) for the US Military in Iraq. AMD has offices in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kuwait, and Iraq and employs individuals from the US, Canada, Australia, Romania, India, the Philippines, and Kuwait.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES: Manage, plan, organize and direct the activities of the QA/RO unit to ensure timely completion of the QA/RO functional tasks. Manage the implementation of monitoring programs to maximize the quality of the finished product and ensuring its compliance with regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Within each BWF oversees the performance of QA and RO functions, including product release,
document control and quality assurance of water production through out the process, to assure that products and processes meet company and regulatory requirements/standards including SOP’s, GMP’s, HACCP.
2. Responsible for managing staff, training and development of plant staff in QA and RO processes eg hygiene and safety, and the control of laboratory and RO resources to maintain and improve product quality and systems consistent with department and company operating objectives.
3. Provide technical assistance and direction to others. Interface with clients during day to day operations and during routine audits, field complaint investigations.
4 Identifies and investigates of excursions from plant standards, in Manufacturing or other related operations resulting in abnormal operation rejections. Seeks information and advice prior to acting to resolve nature of cause, impact, disposition and implement corrective actions.
5. Provide technical assistance to the Plant Manager and direction to staff to assure adherence to quality objectives and plant standards.
6. Responsible for initiating preliminary investigations resulting from non-conformances, product incident reports or excursions, technical documentation of investigation results, and preparing correspondences to senior management.
7. Review and approve all product, process, and material related nonconformance for technical accuracy, completeness, and justifications supporting recommended actions to be taken.
9. Ensure the release of finished product that meets all plant standards is within established timeframes required to meet company operating objectives.
10. Monitors the quality of products and implements systems and strategies to ensure product quality to established governmental regulations and company specifications.
