Well Operations Services Coordinator

Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have :
•A Technical diploma/degree.
•At least 5 years in drilling operations and logistics

Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
1. Knowledge of drilling operations & drilling materials & equipment .
2. Logistics involved in operations in remote area with limit of infrastructure support.
3. Good PC literacy.
4. Awareness to Health & Safety in the Work Environment and Importance of COSHH, Manual Handling & Individual well being.
5. Awareness on Controls within the work Environment with regards to Permit To Work, Risk assessment, Incident/Accident reporting and STOP programme.
6. Knowledge on LOLER (Lifting operations & Lifting equipment regulations), Customs and environmental issues with regards to working in the Caspian region.
7. Awareness of International Maritime and Aviation instructions for shipment of Dangerous Goods by Sea and Air.
8. Ability to create & maintain Effective Working Relationships & Communicate Effectively with Supervisors; Colleagues & Visitors

Main Interfaces:
Company
• The job holder has interfaces with Drilling Superintendent, Fluid Superintendent, Drilling Engineer, Drilling Supervisor, Head of Well Testing, Materials Section Head, Marine superintendent, Well Operations Helicopter Travel Coordinator, Travel Supervisor.
External
• The job holder has interfaces with Contractors’ Logistics representatives and Contractors’ Material staff

Purpose: Assist the work of Drilling and Testing & Completion Superintendent of various wells by preparing in due time supporting documents required to make available on the various drilling units the material, equipment, and required service people.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
1. Working in accordance with direct instructions issued from Drilling Superintendents and Testing and Completion discipline and Drilling Engineers.
2. Verification of the Drilling program and of any change/variation and keeping up to date the requirement for Services, Equipment and material with all current Well Operations.
3. Production of accurate equipment lists and obtaining concurrence of relative Superintendent, for forth coming drilling and well testing operations and producing Vessel and Barge sailing plans prior to offshore operations start up.
4. Maintaining a good contact with the Drilling Superintendents, Drilling Supervisors and all Service Company Specialist Leaders with regards to coordinating the transportation of service company personnel and the shipping of materials and equipment to and from each well in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
5. Daily liaison with Atyrau Services Dept and the Bautino Base to ensure that all logistic movements are performed using the appropriate method of shipment as per schedule.
6. Supervision and management of the Agip KCO Call off database. Ensuring that proper instructions on usage are produced and are strictly adhered too with respect to input of material descriptions, cataloguing and tracking. Individual must also be familiar with Agip KCO JDE computer system.
7. Generating all Call Off documentation for materials and Service personnel travelling to and from the rig and issuing these for action after consultation and approval with the relevant Drilling Superintendent.
8. Close liaison between Offshore Drilling Supervisor, Bautino base and Service company PSL’s with respect to efficient management of rental equipment returning back from rig site.
9. Ensuring all prepared documents shall be approved by the concerned Drilling Superintendent or Head of Well Construction before issue
