| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
University degree - technical education in wood production. Additional economic and commercial education is a plus.
Previous experience with wood production, as he/she should be familiar with the culture of this type of working environment
Fluency in English, computer literacy
Active, independent and taking initiative, but a team player in the same time with developed leadership skills
Able to co-operate with others, service oriented and open-minded
Strategic thinking, able to manage and work under pressure
Willing to travel in and out of the country, clean driving license
Should have a global perspective but also good attention to details and urgency in meeting deadlines and respecting quality norms
Good knowledge of cost structures and cost calculations
| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Responsible for the total business with suppliers in the given area, from the start to the end. Support them in fulfilling IKEA requirements and continuously improving their performance level.
Constantly improve competitiveness in reaching the best buy offer landed sales place.
Monitor the market in the given material/geographical area and endeavour to fully realise its potential.
Responsible for developing suppliers within RO and BG in order to optimize the price, quality, capacity and delivery service of IKEA wood products
The Purchaser must be a good buyer, with good knowledge of the furniture-market but also a good promoter as well as an excellent communicator of IKEA’s requirements and goals to the suppliers
Organize and manage efficiently all contacts, contributes to the team’s development
Support the start-up and development of suppliers, help to realize market potential and ensure that the suppliers fulfill IKEA’s code of conduct.
