Group IT Business Analyst

IG WATTEEUW ROMANIA is recruiting an experienced and highly motivated IT Business Analyst with application administration and programming experience to support the definition, design, deployment and administration of business systems.
Experience must include the implementation of a top-tier ERP system in the past years.
The individual will interface with all levels of management.

Responsibilities:
Based on the state-of-the-art knowledge of the ERP system (MFGPro in a Progress programming environment), the Group IT Business Analyst develops the data warehouse and business intelligence solution in close-cooperation with the CFO Watteeuw Group (based in Belgium) and the ‘Group Finance & Business Intelligence Analyst’ with user bias (based in Iasi).
Moreover, the Group IT Business Intelligence Analyst (with IT bias) supports the subdivision IG Watteeuw Transmissions by working out process analyses, documentation sets and process optimization in close cooperation with the Logistics Manager Transmissions based in the Brno plant (Czech Republic).

Key responsibilities include:
• Determine and recommend optimal solutions to address business requirements with consideration of company objectives
• Review test plans and facilitate test execution to ensure that an application meets requirements
• Maintain project schedules and regularly communicate project status to executives
• Prepare end-user training materials and conduct end-user training
• Project management of business system/applications projects


Requirements

5+ years work experience with the following skills:
• Direct experience in the implementation of a top-tier ERP system (i.e., Oracle, SAP, etc.) implementation, but Progress databases programming will be a big plus.
• Substantial prior IT business analyst and/or software engineering experience
• Working knowledge of data structures and database design
• Strong understanding of how to utilize information systems and technologies to maximize productivity and establish maximum process efficiencies
• Comprehensive experience with all facets of the system lifecycle (functional requirements definition, system design, development, testing, deployment, support)
• Exceptional attention to detail and an operational mindset
• Solid project management skills with a successful track-record of delivering on time and on specifications
• Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic, rapidly growing environment
