| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Proficient in C/C++ and Java
Knowledge of software development tools and techniques relating to building releases, version control, testing, and debugging.
Practical experience of game development
Knowledge of 2D & 3D programming.
Expert knowledge in one of the following areas, Optimisation, 3D rendering, AI, Portability and framework, Audio/Video
Good communication skills and an ability to work both as part of a team and on your own.
Ability to instruct and train
An awareness of mobile games and games industry in general. | RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Based in our Bucharest office and reporting directly to the Producer, the main purpose of this role is the reference development of mobile games.
Essential responsibilities and duties
Projects actively participate in all stages of a project life cycle in conjunction with the full project team (design, art, QA, etc). This includes pre-production, game development (accurate estimates, features implemented as requested), and smooth/timely handover into porting. Ensure all project deliverables are maintained to appropriate standards.
Software Development Processes/Practices understand and apply best practices. This includes use of I-play Coding Standards (to ensure ease of porting), ease of localisation, build process, version control, bug tracking, test & debug techniques, and software design and development.
Expert lead software development within at least one specific area of mobile game development and provide a knowledge base within I-play. Develop this knowledge and impart the information both through support, training and written communication.
Mobile games Expertise Knowledge of mobile devices, mobile games, and carrier certification criteria, & carrier requirements (e.g. Game Lobby).
