Finance Director

- Graduate degree in finance or accounting.CPA or ACCA certificate is favourably looked upon.
- Minimum 5 years of experience from accounting/business control and/or working as an auditor.
- Experience with a multinational company, preferably in the banking/financial services industry (leasing, insurance, securities) is an advantage.
- Strong business orientation: not so much a "bean counter"-type of professional, but rather a business manager with strong emphasis on figures and quantitative data.
- Strong analytical/quantitative analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills. Candidate would also have team playing skills.
- High level of professional integrity. Shortlisted candidates would have to nominate three relevant individuals who would give references about their professional achievements as well as their professional ethics (name and surname, as well as contact data for these individuals will be required during the selection stage of the recruitment-selection project).
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills are a must.
- IT proficient.

The role of the job is to ensure that the highest quality accounting and reporting procedures are maintained and performed in accordance with legal requirements and internal policies and procedures.
The following are the main responsibilities:
- Preparation and analysis of financial, management and tax related reporting, both internal and external.
- Ensure financial stability and control, including fulfillment of different matching targets, setting-up and following-up on financial policies and procedures.
- Preparation of timely and accurate business plans.
- Liaise with headquarters and other companies in the group.
- Support the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager in business development proposals and decision-making process.
- Work with internal and external auditors to continuously improve and strengthen the control over the company's assets.
- Liaise with local tax authorities and other authorities.
- Manage various processes related to finance and accounting.
- Ensure the company complies with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
