BANQUET SALES COORDINATOR

REQUIREMENTS:
- University graduated, with minimum 1 year of professional experience on a similar position in Hospitality industry;
- Highly motivated, pleasant personality, hospitality oriented, very dynamic individuals;
- Good communication and leadership skills;
- Advanced computer skills;
- Fluent English is a must and other additionally spoken languages would be an asset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare all administration documents required by the Banqueting sales activity;
- Attend to telephone, fax, email enquiries in a timely manner;
- Maintain a correspondence data base (manual and electronic);
- Co-ordinate all site inspections as required;
- Sell the hotel facilities and services with emphasis on the banqueting facilities;
- Meet with clients and attend to the details of their events (including weddings; business meetings, small conferences; internal meetings and external meetings, etc);
- Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs);
- Liaise with interfacing departments to provide exceptional service for guests: Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Manager for menu and floor plan lay out within budgets, Reservations Manager for space allocation of rooms;
- Provide input for hotel web design relating to Banqueting;
- Assist with direct mail campaigns;
- Maintenance and management of booking data base;
- Assist with the preparation of new products and services;
- Work in line with business needs;
- Work with Manager to achieve departmental revenue targets.
