QA & Safety Specialist

Education:
• University Degree
• Registered Occupational Safety Specialist
• Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2008)
Experience:
• 3 years experience in audit and at least 1 year for safety activities
Abilities:
• strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on relationship/team building
• verbal communication skills including presentation experience
• Advanced English language competency

Primary Responsibilities:
• Conducting or monitoring, as case, the Occupational Safety lectures with the company's employees. Monitoring of signed related individual forms. Ensure specialized support towards Workplace Supervisors;
• Maintaining a pertinent work relationship with the inspector of Territorial Occupational Safety Inspectorate responsible for Honeywell Romania SRL;
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the company's overall Safety Program;
• Supporting the maintenance of the company’s Safety regulative & procedural requirements and practices;
• Supporting the scheduling activities concerning the safety walks, inspections and audits, as required;
• Participate in monthly building inspection and weekly workplaces safety walks and report detected findings;
• Ensure required support afferent to periodical safety tailgate meetings;
• Establishing, implementing and monitoring of the Honeywell Romania Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2000;
• Assisting SBUs in developing and subsequently implementing adequate procedures;
• Ensuring the internal quality audits activity is performed, managed and reported in compliance with applicable quality standards, codes and regulations
• Determining and reporting the principal causes of nonconformances;
• Training and advising personnel for quality-related activities;
• Coordinating the quality improvement activities as conducting the Management Reviews
• Collect and report relevant data the QMS to support and Global data requirements.
• Communication of information and/ or changes from Global Quality Assurance to affected personnel.

Measures of Accountability:
• Effectiveness (including legislative relation) in conducting the Occupational Safety lectures with the company's employees;
• Effectiveness of detecting safety related findings concerning the safety walks, inspections and audits, as required;
• Timeliness in signing the individuals Occupational Safety Forms for the training certification;
• Compliance with specific requirements arisen from the Honeywell Safety and Quality Procedures;
• Correct registration and filing of the Safety and Quality related correspondence documents.
• Be the Quality Advocate for all internal CA’s related to Honeywell Romania SRL. Assign ownership, monitor, review and close out activities related to CAs.
