Financial Analyst

Skills required:
• University degree in accounting/finance
• At least 1 years of previous accounting experience in a multinational environment
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Process oriented, well organized, problem solving and financial systems proficient
• Enthusiastic, flexible, able to work under pressure
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Medium to Advanced Excel knowledge

Objectives:
• Perform proper accounting of projects and inventory in compliance with company policies & procedures and statutory requirements in order to ensure matching of costs and revenues
• Provide timely and accurate reports to management, projects team and authorities

Responsibilities:
• Review of direct and indirect project costs (suppliers invoices, labor cost, allocations etc.)
• Calculation and recording of projects revenues based on US GAAP rules
• Calculation and recording of project cost accrual based on US GAAP rules
• Project reviews – help the operation team to understand what is going on the projects from financial perspective and understand how the project stands from operation perspective and make sure all aspects are reflected in the financial systems (EBF, disputes, provisions).
• Reports (in the financial reporting system) the weekly and monthly orders and prepares the list of all orders booked by line of business
• Perform control over inventory transaction, perform valuation of inventory movements and reconcile G/L and inventory ledger
• Prepare projects and inventory reports as required by Finance Manager, local and regional management.
• Review and prepare the Engineering Centre monthly performance report
• Computation of monthly cost related to R&D activity
• Provide support to Finance Manager in the month-end closing process
• Provide support for development and improvement of local projects accounting procedures in line with company policies and procedures and statutory requirements
