| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
•Bachelors Degree in Economics (Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred)
•Directly related experience in Collection (min 2 years) finance or accounting and in progressively responsible positions desirable.
•Good knowledge of accounting principles, credit and collection policies and procedures, and credit risk.
•Good knowledge of English languages
•Preferable WizCount knowledge.
•Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and financial analysis skills.
•Goal oriented, motivated self-starter, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
•Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers required.
•Strong PC skills including both Access and Excel, and experience with other Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
•Advanced user of MS Excel, able to learn it quickly (using "pivot table"; using functions: "if", "vlookup", "sumif", "countif", "concatenate")
| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Main responsibilities
•evaluating credit risk, making recommendations on and/or setting temporary credit limits on new accounts and following an established procedure on collections.
•Performs credit risk assessment for all customers, propose credit limits and payment terms, making recommendations on and/or setting temporary credit limits on new accounts and following an established procedure on collections.
•maintains the customer's master file.
•develop effective collection strategies through coordination with affected departments.
•maintaining a smooth functioning credit portfolio -supplying responsive, process-effective services to internal and external customers.
•working closely with site sales, marketing organizations and Corporate Treasury to structure financing alternatives for customers requiring special financing.
•Communicates disputes to responsible departments; communicates with external Lawyer with regards to accelerated collection efforts.
•ensuring past due and collection metrics are achieved on a portfolio of accounts.
•Is responsible for standard GCTS reporting, and attends regular cash calls.
•Monitor adequacy of allowance for doubtful accounts.
•Communicate closely with the company’s lawyer about the legal procedures related to receivables issues.
Additional responsibilities
•establishing and maintaining contact with customers concerning past due invoices, payment trends, resolution of disputed invoices, and other matters related to past due receivables, reduce past dues.
•Participating as a member of various customer account teams.
•Interfacing with a variety of functional areas at various business sites related to customer disputes, invoice copies, proof of delivery, contract/PO issues, etc.
•Conducting business in a manner that promotes both internal and external customer satisfaction.
