CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

The right candidate must have hands-on experience in the accounting and administration for a company in Romania, ideally for a subsidiary/branch of an international company, be a good team player and shall be an excellent person-manager with good inter-personal skills.
Basic Requirements
• University Degree in Business Administration, or Accounting & Finance or Economics
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Good knowledge of Romanian local accounting, legal company obligations and Romanian employment law
• Prior experience within an International Company and familiarity with USGAAP/international accounting standards would be advantageous
• Excellent command of the English Language
• PC literacy
• Relationship building skills
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Results oriented
• Perceptiveness and resourcefulness
• Proven person management skills
• Previous experience with Project Management or Civils Consultant would be an advantage.
Reporting directly to the Regional VP of Finance and operationally to the Vice President - Civil Projects - Europe, the selected candidate will be responsible to manage effectively all administration, accounting & finance issues, and oversee legal statutory requirements of the Romanian company.


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

Job Profile
• Coordinates Romania main and project offices for administration, accounting, tax and legal statutory requirements.
• Manages preparation of monthly financial reporting to regional HQ and ensures compliance with all local statutory obligations of the company.
• Develops contact with clients in the following up of on time invoice payments.
• Provides overall direction for the administration, cash handling, organization and methods, MIS & logistics functions, personnel matters, timesheets and payroll.
• Supports the local recruitment of personnel and the registration of expatriate personnel assigned to Romania
• Develops, proposes and ensures the implementation of day to day activities operational policies, practices and procedures to ensure the efficiency of the company and the safeguarding of company assets.
• Liaises with banks, external accountants and advisors, ministries and local authorities.
• Manages the office logistics and non-technical support staff.
