Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator

-Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Health, Safety, Environmental or related field.
-4 + years HS&E leadership experience in a multinational plant environment preferred.
-H&S legal certifications, Fire legal certification
-OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 system auditor preferred
-A good understanding of business operations (business acumen) including project management skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
-Ability to identify potential risks and corrective actions using six sigma approaches.
-Strong bias for action and ability to energize others to work toward the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
-Must have exceptional skills in building interpersonal relationships, including high degree of tact, diplomacy and ability to influence.
-Must be thoroughly conversant with applicable HS&E regulations and company policies.
-Must have  English languages capability

The HS&E Engineer will provide overall management and technical leadership of HS&E activities for this location. 
-Maintain compliance with safety, health and environmental laws and regulations issued by European and local agencies and Honeywell corporate policy.
-Responsible for managing all elements of the HS&E function, including annual operating plan, annual assurance letter process, HS&E management systems deployment, compliance audits, best practices exchange, event reporting and corrective action closures, internal/external reporting and compliance assurance.
-Provide professional advice and technical information to managers to enable the plant to discharge its statutory, common and moral obligations, keeping staff and Managers abreast of changes in H&S
-Legislation and Corporate Practice (Machinery guarding, LOTO, Ark flash, Live electrical, Confine space, Hot work, Fleet management,
-Forklifts, etc) also Environment (drinking water, waste water, air pollution, soil and noise management, REACH chemical management, waste management) and Emergency situation (fire, earthquake, chemical spillage, accidents, etc)
-Assure proper HSE&E coordination during the project phase
-Ensure required training is delivered to all required employees.
-Integrate and partner with business leaders demonstrating HS&E value in creating a culture supporting prevention and compliance.
