CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

Minimum Qualification and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Commerce from a recognized University.
• 12 years direct and relevant experience in an Marketing function within an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
Professional Training in Sales & Marketing



RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

This Role heads a Sales Section comprised of various levels charged with sales, market research, price negotiations, market share and customer management. The key contribution is to ensure that Company’s sales targets and price budgets are met and that Section’s employees are developed and motivated to realize potential and make significant contributions. The role is heavily oriented towards researching global markets and reporting trends to the Management. There is a responsibility towards problem solving at this level to resolve sales related disputes between QAFCO and its customers through the application of advanced analytical and innovative problem solving techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and organise the activities of the Section to ensure that the Section’s plans, procedures and programs are met through the optimisation and efficient utilisation of available resources
• Formulate and monitor implementation of new sales policies, procedures and contractual agreements to achieve Sales targets.
• Prepare and approve Section’s annual Plans and budgets. Continually monitor progress and priorities and make necessary adjustments to achieve effective planning and cost control.
• Prepare and propose annual sales budgets and price forecast to meet market demands at competitive prices.
• Prepare monthly report to the Marketing Manager to update him on status of progress against plan and trends in market shares, supply and demand.
• Review / Check Sales Contracts in co-ordination with the relevant section of the Marketing Department (Marketing Administration ) and the Legal Advisor.
• Co-ordinate with related marketing department section and Production Department to monitor product stock level and report any critical situation that requires corrective action.
• Manage lifting schedules and co-ordinate with the Chartering Section for effective shipment of products.
• Work closely with the Production Department and inform the relevant sections of the Marketing Department of the required product type to meet customers’ specifications.
• Review Market information prepared by the group and discuss events with relevant sections within the Marketing Department.
