| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Minimum:
• Technical university studies or relevant working experience
• 2 years experience with hardware design of automotive electronics components
• Basic knowledge of embedded electronics hardware engineering
• Basic knowledge and understanding of electronics hardware design tools for schematics
capture, layout and simulation.
• Basic knowledge in the EMC field.
• Basic knowledge about electronics components and cost level.
• Good presentation preparation and delivery skills
• Good PC operation (Word, Excel, etc)
• Fluent in English
Preferably:
• Masters Degree in Electronics
• Experience with instrument cluster design and manufacturing.
• Experience with smart junction boxes and body electronics design
• Knowledge of LCD and display technologies.
• Knowledge of PCB technologies
• Knowledge of communication protocols for the automotive market (e.g. CAN, J1850, etc)
• German, French or Japanese would be a bonus |
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Design, development and testing of embedded hardware:
• Determine specific hardware requirements of a project, based on system requirements
• Prepare hardware test plans
• Review and document manufacturing requirements impacting the hardware design
• Design and draw electronic schematics and route PCB layouts
• Create and maintain project documentation (HW-SW Interface, DFMEA, Worst Case Analysis)
• Perform Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test reviews with manufacturing departments
• Liase with other departments (SW, PV, Mechanical, Quality, Manufacturing) in order to succesfully deliver the projects
• Evaluate hardware test and development tools (schematic/layout development suites, gerber viewers/editors, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, etc)
• Participate in benchmark activities such as research, record and present customer profiles and trends.
