Hardware Engineer for Passenger Car Instrument Clusters (Timisoara)

University Degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Telecommunications;
Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design techniques;
Knowledge of CAD tools (Mentor Expediton and Zuken CR500 are an advantage);
EMC knowledge is an advantage;
Knowledge of using measurement equipments;
Automotive experience is an advantage;
Fluent English and/or German;

In modern cars the driver always needs to be informed about the "health" of the vehicle. This is why we constantly endeavoring to develop complex instrument clusters. Our clusters always cooperate with the driver, displaying the actual status of the car. Additional information like navigation information, radio and user settings are displayed on the central information display, developed by us too. One of the newest technologies is the fade in of information's on the windshield with the Head-up Display.
As HW Design Engineer, your main tasks will be:
Development of HW Modules according to specification;
Worst Case Analysis and simulation of the circuit diagrams;
Testing of the HW in order to check it against specification;
Test equipment development;
Support of the production plant;
Continuous cooperation with the project team to reach common project targets;

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

The specialists in our Interior Division work passionately to keep drivers and passengers informed of their vehicles’ status – and in touch with the world outside – at all times.
