Senior Design Engineer

For our client, a multinational company from the Oil and Gas field we are looking for a Senior Design Engineer.

The suitable candidate should have:

- Engineering degree;
- technical oriented intellect with minimum 6 years experience;
- strong Mathematics and Applied Engineering;
- advanced IT Skills;
- Skills for people management;
- very good communication skills;
- extensive knowledge of Hydraulic products and services related to Oil and Gas and Marine sectors;
- track record of success in designing Hydraulic Systems and applications such as Power packs, Skidding Systems, Spooler Systems, Flushing;
- Rigs, Test Benches related to Oil and gas, marine and Drilling sectors;
- important experience on Engineering design and Production particularly skid mounted packages for Offshore and oil and gas markets;
- ability to prepare the design calculation; generate Boom and Cost Sheet;
- knowledge on International standards relevant to all aspects of Hydraulics Engineering design
- good knowledge of QHSE
- knowledge of latest technologies on Computer Added Design tools;
- good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and software total packages;
ability to generate and document processes and procedures.

The future employee will have to:

- identify customer/project requirements and offer scope of Engineering design;
- generate conceptual design for the customers inquiries;
- perform design calculations and technical analyzes;
- generate design drawings and bills for the project;
- prepare procedures for in-house and witnessed testing;
- ensure timely resolution of all technical problems;- monitor the progress;
- carry out on-site investigations and report findings;
- use the ERP system;
- ensure compliance with all applicable standards;
other duties associated with successful development of Engineering/Design.
