Global Technical Service Engineer-Radio Network Planning & Optimization

● Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree qualification or above majoring in Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science / Engineering / or other related technical discipline.
2. Preferably with 2 years of RF planning & optimization engineering experience.
3. Familiar/excellent in the fundamentals of GSM, CDMA2000+EVDO, UMTS+HSPA or WiMAX systems.
4. Familiar with excellent in multi vendors’ wireless equipment operation and wireless network optimization. With multi vendor product network experience is an added advantage.
5. Experience in appointed as a Team Leader of RNP & RNO Projects, familiar with Technical Management and Project Management.
6. Tools experience for: RF planning, propagation models, RF optimization, protocol analysis, etc.
7. Able to work in fast pace working environment. Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills.
8. Customer service oriented and good presentation skill.
9. Willing to travel to overseas frequently.

● Job Responsibilities

1. To support Radio network planning & Optimization projects of GSM / CDMA2000+EVDO / UMTS+HSPA / WiMAX / 3G.
2. To provide: Radio Coverage & Capacity Dimensioning, RF Planning and Optimization, E2E optimization (KPIs), performance monitoring, Site engineering, Network audit, etc.
3. To support performance KPI negotiating with operators before or during project implementation.
4. To take part in the Preliminary or final radio performance acceptance procedure for worldwide project.
5. To communicate with the high level customer, Project Manager, RF Manager, CTO, CEO.
6. To write guidelines for radio network planning & optimization projects.
7. Assist PM with RF team organization setup, resource planning and tasks allocation; to setup RF work processes and supervise project RF part, ensure the network performance complies with contract.
