Learning & Development Manager

Job description:
• Manages the organization's learning and development activities;
• Oversee the management and delivery of core leadership and essential skills training. Conduct annual needs assessments for skill development. Create and manage the annual leadership and essential skills training calendar for GE Money Romania;
• Create and implement effective learning strategies;
• Build and implement learning in support of key GE Money leadership, HR and business initiatives;
• Direct, develop and implement systems, processes and tools for employee development, team development and competency development;
• Acts as primary liaison with GE Corporate and Regional L&D Resources regarding Leadership, Essential Skills and Human Resources training;
• Training needs analysis, curriculum development, selection and/or development of classes, program delivery and evaluation, and administration;
• Delivers tools to the business to assist in the understanding of course offerings;
• Evaluates and selects outside training and development resources as appropriate.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 year's experience in a combination of HR Generalist, training and/or organizational development roles;
• Demonstrated ability to conduct competency/skill-based needs analysis and design, develop and implement effective learning programs;
• University degree in related field or an equivalent mix of education & experience;
• Demonstrated ability to influence and achieve buy-in at all levels of the organization;
• Knowledge of current theories and/or best practices in; leadership development, competency-based systems, change management and organization analysis/development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, training delivery, and facilitation skills;
• High level of interpersonal skills and collaboration;
• Business acumen;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
