FUEL/OIL MANAGER

PROFILE:

• Retail fuels background, preferably with an established oil company
• Full working knowledge of government legislation pertaining to the fuels industry
• Self starter, highly motivated, willing to work long and sometimes unusual hours
• Strong analytical skills
• Good PC & systems understanding
• Good interpersonal & negotiation skills
• Better than average performance in past positions as indicated by performance reviews or reference checks
• A “marketer mentality” approach to the business
• Holder of a full and preferably clean driving license

MISSION: To ensure the adequate supply of fuel & oil products to all stations & manage the inventory to ensure the optimization of both sales & income.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce an annual marketing plan to include product strategies.
• Assist in the development of policies & procedures relating to fuel & oil.
• Take appropriate action to when policies and procedures are not followed.
• Provide timely feedback on performance to General Manager.
• Ensure all stations receive the fuel/oil products as required in a timely fashion.
• Provide dynamic on going national marketing initiatives.
• Creation & analysis of a fuel/oil control system.
• To ensure all stations fulfill the legal & health & safety requirements.
• Timely production of management information.
• To understand & monitor the market pricing & trends for fuel & oil products.
• To ensure the operation & maintenance of all fuel handling equipment.
• To ensure a close working relationship with Lukoil fuel distribution depots & fuel management personnel.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Fuel/Oil targets achieved
• Fuel margins & stocks optimised
• Feed back on Operations to General Manager
• Strength of buying deals in comparison to petrol station operators
• Performance of promotional activity
• Sound knowledge of fuel & oil markets within Romania
