FRENCH SPEAKING COMMODITY BUYER

- Technical University degree or Business University degree with a strong technical knowledge base
- 2+ years experience in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement / Supply chain role preferable in a multinational corporate environment;
- Project management experience / knowledge
- Experience in conducting cost-benefit analysis
- Fluency in English and French
- Computer skills: MsOffice, Internet, E-mail
- Experience with an ERP system: Oracle, SAP etc. represents and asset.

- Manage assigned commodities and suppliers for the European sites;
- Develop a strong performing supply base for the European sites using best cost countries most effectively;
- Drive improvement of supplier delivery and quality performance, material cost containment, payment terms and inventory
- Review parts and products with suppliers as necessary to develop and initiate containment and cost reduction opportunities in all Eastern Europe Market.
- Manage and execute sourcing projects through completion, cooperating with other functions: Engineering, Quality, Planning buyers, Corporate commodity managers as necessary;
- Assess supplier capability by conducting audits, cost benefit analysis, issue resolution, risk prevention and contingency planning
- Negotiate purchasing terms and raise long term agreements with suppliers
