Software Test Engineer for Embedded Tools Development

Requirements:
•University degree, preferable in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation, Electronics
•Experience in C, Perl, min. 1 year
•Knowledge of a scripting programming language - such as TCL, Perl
•Familiarity with version control systems, such as CVS, and configuration management
•Fluently spoken and written English and ability for short business trips and weekly communication meetings with world-wide team

The following skills would bring an advantage:
•Experience in C++ and/or Java
•Knowledge of CodeWarrior and/or Eclipse platform
•Understanding of how a compiler/debugger/build system works
•Previous experience using automated test tools
•Experience in System Integration Test
•Knowledge of software quality, software development process
•Familiarity with version control systems, such as CVS, and configuration management
•Familiarity with Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model (CMM) helpful

Responsibilities:
•To develop, implement and execute test plans and procedures and providing support to other software developers world-wide via email and telephone
•To work with engineering documentation, marketing and customer support groups to identify and coordinate internal objectives for product component testing and validation
•To report test and quality status to upper management on a regular basis
•To create, develop and maintain automated test scripts, coordinating test scripts with world-wide test teams
•To extend automated test tools and test procedures to improve overall automation percentage
