Business Representative - Internet Marketing Internship

We are looking for 1st or 2nd year IT, business and marketing students to participate in
summer Internet Marketing internship as Fortumo Business Representative with a
possibility to continue working in Fortumo as a business representative after the program.



Basic Requirements

As we have only a limited number of places available, we are looking for candidates with:

• Strong desire to learn & strongmotivation to participate
• Heavy-users of internet-based services and applications
• Good writing and communication skills
• Some knowledge of the local internet business landscape
• Some experience with social networks
You do not need to have any previous work experience to apply.We are looking at your motivation
and desire to learn more than your work experience.

Also note that it is 3-months committment: once selected, you should complete the whole 3-month
program. If you dropped out in the middle, it would be unfair to the person who could have been selected instead of you.

What it is?

• 3-months internet marketing management internship program
• Most suited for 1st and 2nd year marketing, IT or business students (but open for applying all
other students interested in learning more about internet marketing).
• Requires a 3-months commitment of about 15-20 hours a week
• Task-based approach, learning by doing, based on assignments of an actual company.
• Focused on practical skills instead of theoretical knowledge.
• Internship is in English.
• The internship is available simultaneously for students in five countries.
• Only 1 places available per country.
• And last but not least... in addition to learning from the pros, you can earn commission

What will it teach?

The program will grant the selected candidate the ability to join an international team, take crucial
decisions and cope with serious projects on his own. You will learn about:

• different internet-based marketing channels (advertising, search marketing, online press
releases, blogs, forums, affiliate programs, etc.)
• metrics of internet advertising (CPM, CPC, CPA) and measurement tools (Google Analytics)
• creating and implementing strategical and tactical internet marketing plans
• executing internet-based marketing campaigns
• finding and negotiating with partners and clients
• SEO activities on the local search engines
• Writing effective press releases and other business communications.
• Using the social networks as a tool in marketing
