SAP R/3 operation expert - TIMISOARA / BUCHAREST

At least three years of database administration experience (Oracle, MS-SQL, Max-DB).
Good knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows operating systems
Very good English knowledge, German is a plus

Basic Administration of SAP R/3 Systems

TASKS:

Operation of the SAP R/3 database:
starting and stopping the database, perform database extensions, manage / monitor the tablespace usage
database administration using BRTOOLS, administration of object extensions / next extent size, schedule database specific related jobs

Operation of the SAP R/3 systems:
perform starting and stopping the SAP R/3 systems, printer administration for SAP R/3 systems

Data Backup and Recovery:
check of the database backups

Output Management:
printer administration with XPRINT, define UNIX print queue on appropriate server, printer administration for SAP R/3 systems, define printers for SAP R/3 systems based on existing standards, maintain printers and printer parameters in SAP R/3 systems, manage SAP spool processes and SAP printer queues, investigate and resolve SAP Basis related print problems

Monitoring:
proactive monitoring for SAP R/3-database and SAP R/3-systems, error diagnosis and activation of 2nd level support if necessary
