IT Field Support Specialist

Education:
University level, technical / IT degree;

Experience:
At least 3 years working experience with the tasks mentioned above in the IT&C field;

Knowledge:
Solutions and service portfolio of IT&C;
Trends and context in the IT&C field;
Knowledge of Microsoft WIN98, WIN NT4.0, WIN2K & XP, Win2000 Server and Win2003; Server knowledge of Microsoft Office 97, 2000, 2003 & XP;
Knowledge of StarOffice / OpenOffice and Lotus SmartSuite;
Knowledge of SCO UnixWare, Linux or BSD;
Knowledge related to of installations and configuration of modems, routers and Layer 3 switch;
Knowledge related to installations and configurations of radio equipments;
Knowledge related to installations of voice equipments;
Basic knowledge for administrating and maintaining Oracle Date Base and IBM DB2 Database;
Basic knowledge of Storage systems;
Basic knowledge of Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino;
Basic Knowledge of IT Security Solutions;
Good command of English (spoken and written).

Operating and maintaining the IT infrastructure of FORTE’s Cluj Branch;
Performing general maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing computer systems and peripheral equipment located at Forte customers’ sites within the area covered by Cluj Branch: Mures, Cluj, Bistrita Nasaud and Alba;
Maintaining correct and complete project reports data;
Understanding in-depth the customer’s IT strategy and priorities;
Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the customer’s IT specialists;
Maintaining high level of customer satisfaction;
Administrating and developing LAN, WAN, Internet connection, WEB and Mail servers for the projects implemented by Cluj Branch;
Acting as IT consultant (software & hardware) for both local and national projects of Forte Business Services;
Installing/setting up/customizing the OS (Windows, Linux, BSD) suite applications (MS Office, OpenOffice) and firewall, antispam, antispyware, antivirus applications;
Capable of develop, maintain and promote IT projects, IT services, IT products;
Reporting to the Branch Manager.
