Flash / Java Game Developer

Experience in Adobe Flash/Flex technology (ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0) and/or Java technology is required. We also offer a crash-course in Flash for those of you with good OOP skills but with no past Flash experience.

Knowledge about Web Services, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, XML will be considered a plus, since these technologies will also be used in our projects.
Past working experience at other web companies or as freelancers is not a must, but it is an advantage.

Game development is one of the most challenging and exciting tasks in the software industry. Besides the technical skills, some important requirements for such a job are:
• a deep understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, coding style and good practices in modern programming
• good analytical skills, ability to break-down complex applications into simple & clean modules, structured mind, attention to details, desire to learn new things and motivation to improve
• good communication, team work, ability to work on projects and under deadlines
• imagination, innovative mind, passion for computer games

We will be using advanced OOP techniques, application and communication frameworks, various protocols, 3D and physics engines, sound and graphical effects and integration with Java backend solutions.
