Experienced Consultant / Customs & Excise duties (apply online at www.careers.deloitte.com)

- One to three years of relevant experience as a tax consultant or as in-house specialist for a commercial company / customs broker;
- Good knowledge of Romanian customs and excises legislation and a good understanding of the EU fundamental principles;
- Excellent command of Romanian and English - both speaking and writing;
- Ambitious, outgoing personality, challenging attitude;
- Very good interpersonal and team-playing skills;
- Well organized and able to identify and juggle with priorities.

Our Customs & Excises duties service line is well positioned for growth and an experienced Consultant is needed to support the team in delivering quality service to the client and pursue new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Advise clients in a range of different industries on customs/excises matters;
- Write and review tax advice for the client; generate new ideas on customs matters, challenge existing accepted practice;
- Delivers and monitors multiple client engagements;
- Research international and domestic tax matters;
- Maintain active communication with the team members;
- Assist Managers and Partners in business development efforts - drafting proposals, client meetings and negotiations.
