Foreman for Libya (Ref: FL)

Required experience:

-Professional knowledge & broad practical experience in infrastructure works including but not limited to earthworks, concrete construction methods & sewage pipe systems
-Supervisory techniques
-Knowledge of construction standards in the field of infrastructure works, materials, specifications and tests as related to his function
-Drawing and specification interpretation
-Communication, report preparation and writing in English language
-Quality control and conformity
-QC Inspection procedures and techniques
-Profeciency in first aid treatment

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, the Forman is responsible for all construction related works which are required to execute an infrastructure project in terms ofconcrete and/or of pipeworks, earth and roadworks and for the performance thereof in accordance with the approved construction schedule.
- Coordinates resources and personnel movements of his group
-Directs and supervises the required operations
-Is responsible for the quality control of the works including cleanliness and accuracy of the work and for the safety of his operation
-Interprets drawings and specifications
-Performs routing tasks such ustaking masurements, perfoming calculations, preparing requisitions, estimates equipment and materilas lists, schedules sketches progress reports and other productions according to specific detailed instruction
-Performes other related works as directed
