Technical IT Consultant (Linux)

- Fluent English, French would be considered an advantage
- Relevant experience with Linux (preferably 3 years): TCP/IP si ARP, IPTABLES (package filtering, NAT), knowledge of Fedora Core distribution configuring/compiling , SSH: key management, sendmail/postfix/qmail, amavis, courier-imap/vpopmail, user management, bind, dhcp
- Any prior consulting experience would be considered an advantage
- Should work well in a fast-paced team environment, demonstrate initiative, work ethic and be client oriented

Job description:
- Responsible for efficient analysis of client processes in order to optimize them through IT solutions design and implementation
- Managing and developing the client portofolio
- Management of clients’ projects, including problem analysis, solution design and implementation
- Designs tailored solutions for the clients, that might require:
* Data store management
* Network configuration and management
* User support and helpdesk
* Security
* System resource management and performance
* Technical record keeping and procedural documentation
* Hardware installation and maintenance
* Peripheral and device management
* Understanding existing systems and technologies
* Integrating systems
* Designing technical architectures
