Mandatory skills:

- Good knowledge of the software testing lifecycle;
- Active experience in functional testing;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Attention to details;
- Ability to understand business processes;
- Motivated and dependable, has initiative, understands responsibility, team player;
- Very good written and spoken English communication skills.

Desirable skills:

- Load and stress testing experience, automation testing experience;
- Wide use of test tools (Mercury Test Director, Mantis, Bugzilla, Link Test Pro etc);
- ISEB Certifications.

Project description

The customer is a world renowned financial institution, providing insurance and reinsurance solutions worldwide.
The first project will handle consolidation across 3 countries for policy recording, claims and reporting systems.


Job description

Your main responsibilities will be to test software systems, you will review and analyze documentation/specifications and understand the business requirements. You will contribute to the creation of test plans, identify, write and peer review test cases based on the specifications, identify and create test data, run and execute tests according to plan. You will identify and report defects, track and retest defects. You will provide constructive criticism and contribute to lessons learnt for future releases and projects, help with task allocation and tracking if delegated by the TL, review and enforce the quality of tests written within your team, tutor junior testers.
Occasionally you can be involved in geographically distributed projects and you will have to work for short periods of time in other Endava Delivery Centers (i.e. in London-UK).
