Project description
A dedicated team of engineers provides QA and Technical Writing for a streaming solution used by the customers of our US partner around the world in order to deliver live an MOD (Media-On-Demand) streaming on 3gpp handsets. The product provides mobile operators, content providers and handset manufacturers the tools they need to create and launch advanced multimedia services.
Responsibilities
Technical Writing responsibilities:
Develops, writes, and edits technical documentation, including user guides, installation guides, release notes, technical briefs working closely with the other technical writers, QA, development and support teams;
The primary documentation is developed in Microsoft Word, converted to PDF and HTML.
Quality Assurance responsibilities:
Own all aspects of testing throughout the application life cycle, including acceptance, regression, installation and upgrade testing;
Detailed test planning and test design;
Defect discovery, isolation, documentation and tracking.
