Quality Assurance / Test Engineer

- Previous test experience across the full product life cycle (from requirements gathering to maintenance).
- Some understanding of Windows and Linux and network set-up configuration.
- Experience with writing test plans and test cases (white and black box).
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

QA for streaming on 3G Partnership Projects (3gpp) handsets
A dedicated team of engineers provides QA for a streaming solution used by the customers of our US partner around the world in order to deliver live an MOD (Media On Demand) streaming on 3gpp handsets. The product provides mobile operators, content providers and handset manufacturers the tools they need to create and launch advanced multimedia services.

- Own all aspects of testing throughout the product life cycle, including acceptance, regression, installation and upgrade testing.
- Detailed test planning and test design.
- Defect discovery, isolation, documentation and tracking.
- Analyze test data and provide risk assesment.
- Participate in specification, technical design and other documentation reviews.
- Design and implement test automation and custom test harness.
- Reproduce and troubleshoot customer issues.
- Identify and help drive implementation of process improvement initiatives.
