Sprint Java Developer

- 2 - 3 years of experience in the IT field
- knowledge in working with UNIX
- good knowledge of Java (2 years of experience), Java, JSP, Servlets, JUnit, Eclipse, JavaScript, Oracle 9i / 10g
- at least 2 years of Model 2 (MVC) and Jakarta Struts development, some experience of Spring / Hibernate framework advantageous
- Web application development, in particular for a consumer facing applications
- good knowledge of English

On behalf of our client, Ericsson, leading provider of telecommunications solutions and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally, we are searching for professionals to fill the position of Sprint Java Developer.

- The role requires development of and support for the base application, UI and the web service interfaces.

Responsabilities:

- Write impact analyses and high level designs for minor projects, and detailed designs from high level designs for major projects, and functional specifications
- Develop and support code through the lifecycle of design, code and unit test into SIT
- Support of developed code through integration testing, UAT and into the live customer facing environment
- 4th Line support on a 24/7 rota (the final escalation level for problems)
- Resolve issues and fix bugs on existing software, when such problems are identified
- Design and implementation of software development strategies and best practice technique (for Senior Developers)
- Deliver, and support the reference client implementations of the web service code base (WSDL); currently this is written in Java
- Work directly with the 3rd parties to help resolve issues during the development, testing and production deployment of their services (for Java and .NET developers)
- Support the team in migrating the 3rd parties through these stages.
- Support of your developed code through integration testing, UAT and into the live environment
- Support the exposed B2B services, the interface is currently SOAP based
