CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in design
- The candidate shall have extensive experience in stress analysis, detailed - design and engineering for Oil & Gas facilities.
- Experience in all stages of design of piping systems & plant layout for Oil & Gas projects
- Knowledge of the related International codes and Standards etc.
- Working knowledge of pipe stress analysis and selection of pipe support etc
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- PC skills, including specific design software (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Fluency in both written & spoken English
- Italian language knowledge would be a plus
- Leadership abilities

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Lead the piping engineering team
Responsibilities:
Role will include, but not be specific to:
- Taking part in the project planning and scheduling
- Ensuring that the specialist design, for the part he is responsible for is in accordance with the contract provisions, the procedures and the project schedule
- Checking the progress of the activities he is responsible for, suggesting suitable actions to prevent, absorb or minimize any deviations in terms of time and costs
- Ensuring the preparation and check of the purchase requisitions and technical evaluations
- Ensuring the controlled management of the documents within his area of responsibility, vendor’s documents inclusive
- Giving assistance to the other project positions as far as specialist aspects are concerned
- Defining the levels of inspection and testing at the vendor’s workshop and the site quality control
- Giving assistance to the other project positions as far as specialist aspects are concerned (fabrication and site modifications and nonconformities, commissioning and startup)
- Supporting the PEM (Project Engineering Management) in the relationship with the client or the other external organizations within his area of responsibility
- To ensure design packages meet the required safety, environmental and ergonomic standards
- Manage and control all interfaces of the related discipline with other discipline and design product suppliers
