Tourpusher

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• college diploma in drilling
• offshore work requires several years of experience in an equivalent position

Required Competencies/ Skills:
• good knowledge of English language

Responsibilities:
• the tourpusher works a daily shift and his work is under the supervision of the toolpusher.
• monitoring the drilling operations or activity on board an oil and gas drilling rig
• managing personnel and equipment
• delegating work to the most appropriate employees
• organizing and controlling evacuation and 'well and rig securing' procedures
• controlling the efficiency of the safety equipment, the state of wear of the block crackers and the operating (functioning) of the traveling block safety device
• signaling the need of renewing the store of materials and asking the equipment necessary for the rig activities to his superior and, in case of his absence, he provides directly
• assuring the application of the established safety regulations and measures and in particular organizing the emergency drills, as well as the safety meetings
