QA/QC ENGINEER / WORLDWIDE / ONSHORE /OFFSHORE & BUCHAREST OFFICE

Responsibilities:

• to devise and implement a project Quality Management System (QMS) that assures policies, objectives, targets and standards are met within District Projects Department
• to support Project Coordinators by ensuring that the QMS meets their needs. Continually improve the system as required
• to work with local contractors to help them develop and implement compatible Quality Management Systems
• to provide specialist QMS support for pre-qualification of Contractors, Bid Evaluations, and other aspects of Tenders and Contracts
• to raise QA awareness and ensure that value adding QA considerations are effectively addressed throughout design and project execution
• advise Project Coordinators and their supervisors of quality problem areas and recommended corrective actions. Manage the Project Action Tracking and Change Control systems

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a technical or economic university degree or equivalent.
• Hold specific training and competence in all quality management techniques covered by ISO 9000 standards (1994 and 2000 editions)
• Have gained appropriate work experience over a minimum period of 5 years. In addition, shall have at least three years’ practical experience in quality management.
• Have gained specific work experience in documentation management and in writing/definition of quality policies, manuals, procedures and work instructions

Required Competencies/ Skills:

• Have a good knowledge on QMS
• Have a good knowledge English language
• Demonstrate the ability to use the main Windows applications (Word, Excel)
